is it possible to prepone the interview date with the uscis for the family based green card?
my interview is set for 16th and i have to go out of the country (job related), on the 10th. i just came to know about it. don't have enough time for advance parole. is there any other way i can we can do this?

postpone? I wouldn't If I were you, if you postpone it then you have a high chance of USCIS to give you a denial on your Family based green card interview...it could re-schedule but it's not a great idea tho.

Always try really hard not to postpone, Immigration is NOT th emost organized and don't be surprised that after submitting a written request for rescheduling you're still demmed a "no-show"

But more importantly, how are you going to travel without AP? that's a HUGE gamble to take? i wouldn't if i were you?
