My mother previously filed an I-130 for me a couple years ago which was approved but since I was over the age of 21 when it was filed it is going to take a couple years for a visa to become available. With time I met my husband who is also American and we've decided we'd like to live in the United States instead of Canada. If my mother already filed an I-130 for me does it matter? Will this have an impact on the I-130 my husband is planning on filing for me?
