Hello! My wife and I are in the process of getting our documents together and filling everything out. My wife is a full time masters student, she's never had a job before. I'm just wondering if her lack of income will affect us because I know she still has to complete an affidavit of support form. I do have a friend who earns in excess of 125% of the Federal Poverty Guideline who is acting as a Joint Sponsor for me, but I just want to make sure that my wife's lack of income won't affect this.

My husband did 2016 tax return recently so I'm sending that as well as our sponsors 2016 presonal W2 and corporate W2 as well. Sponsor has their own business.
You rather send more than necessary. So you won't get RFE like us.. =/
And we sent it using an attoney too. Sucks.

Okay thank you for that. I'll make sure to include a letter stating that she was in school full time so she wasn't able to work. Also, people keep telling me that I shouldn't submit the application immediately after getting married, what do you guys think? We've been married about a week now, how long should be wait before submitting the forms?

Okay so we're in the process of putting everything together. So let me get this clear, since they have form i-130a now I don't need to submit G-325A with the petition, just with the adjustment of status, correct?
Here's a list of everything, please correct me if there's anything I need to add or subtract (borrowed some of this content from another thread):
