I 485 Form Approved for Green Card, I 130 Form denied

My wife(non-American/beneficiary) and I (American/petitioner) filed the I 130 petition form, the I 485 form for her green card and the I 765 form for a work permit November 2016, along with all of the required documentation and the fees. February 2017 my wife received her work permit, and on April 17, 2017 we received notification that her form I 485 was approved and another notification that a new card is being produced and will be mailed to her soon (i.e., green card). On April 18, 2018 we received notification that the I 130 form was no approved, that is, denied. This seems to be contradictory given her green card was approved. Not sure why this is the case since the I 130 form is required to be submitted along with the I 485 form. We will receive a letter soon about the denial of the I 130 form nut we wanted to know now: QUESTION: Has anyone else had this experience that the I 485 form was approved but the I 130 was not, and the reason(s) why?

It sounds to me like you need to schedule a infopass appointment since it makes no sense why they would approve your i485 and deny your i130. It must be a mistake on their side because I have never heard of anything like that before.
