  • Quick Advice Pls.

    Hi everyone,

I would like to ask for an advice. I really like this forums, members are helping each other and give an advice. By the way, Has anyone experience this?
I am going to have my Biometric. I used my LEGAL NAME (Single Name) in all my forms, I didnt use my husband family name in the forms that we submitted. But in my passport (passport issued by my country) it is still my ex- husband family name (were divorced).
Now, I am kind of worry what ID's should I bring? I will bring our Marriage Certificate. Does Marriage Certificate enough as a proof?

Thank you so much in advance. I really appreciate your advice and helps.

Don't panic, I would just bring the original copy of Marriage certificate, birth certificate(this would show ur original family name), and current passport. I changed my last name after we got married last year, I know how much trouble visiting the gov. offices (DMV, social security office, IRS, USCIS immigration office). I would put these doc. in a folder together just incase. Now I even add utility bill with my name on it in the folder together to proof my residency..ha. Good luck!!
