Hey guys!

I'm married with green card holder! We applied for i-130 Aug 2016 and we got approved in Nov 2016.

Now i was checking the visa bulletin charts and one is saying for F2a that they are working on the files from Jul 2016 and the other one Apr 2016.

Which chart i have to follow? Is is better to call and ask them when can i send my papers for Adjustment of Visa?

For AOS, USCIS picks one of the two charts to use for every month. Sometimes they pick the Final Action Date, and sometimes they pick the Date for Filing. Usually for the first few months of the fiscal year they use Date for Filing, and for the last few months they use Final Action Date. During the current fiscal year, for family-based categories, they used Date for Filing from Oct 2016 to Mar 2017, and Final Action Date from Apr 2017 onwards. It will probably continue to be Final Action Date until the end of the fiscal year in Sep 2017, and when the new fiscal year starts in Oct 2017, it will probably be Date for Filing again for a few months. It looks like you will probably have to wait until October to be eligible for AOS (assuming you are in the US and in status at that time).
