  • I485 Asylum Pendin

    Hello
I have an asylum pending and I have been married to a USC for almost 2 years .
    I130 was approved in 2015

we have been trying to terminate the case(Asylum) but the new administration will not.

I had a master hearing in March 2017 through which we have been scheduled a date in October 2017 to submit the adjustment of status form I-485.

My lawyer submitted the I-485 through the court at the end of March. The check was cashed and I received the notice with case number. It says Fingerprint Fee Was Received .

I received a biometric appointment on April 10th 2017 for April 25th. I walked on April 11th and got my fingerprint taken.

Anyone has an idea of what will happen next.

Were you inspected and admitted when you entered the United States?

If you are not in removal proceedings, why did you submit your I-485 through the court and not directly to USCIS for adjudication?

My Asylum has been pending for over 10 years and I am in removal proceedings.

I have never been in trouble with the law.

It has been pending for that long for many reasons.
          - The Judge that was originally handling my case retired and my case had to be reassigned to another judge.
          - There was an issue with the interpreter
          - I had a hearing in 2009, but my biometric was expired. I was relying on my attorney
