Hi everyone,i just received combo card base on pending I485
Is advance parole only for emergency reasons or can you travel multiply times on it?

Anyone would help with this question.

There's several people that have shared their experiences traveling with AP, all of them had no issues entering the country. Once I get my EAD/AP I will be traveling out if the country. Best of luck!!

Sometimes I think I should have applied for AP too. I thought I'd get GC in a few months and there's no point in spending money on AP, when I'd be able to travel with GC soon. Processing times have been veeery slow (Baltimore field office), and I don't know when I would get it my GC now.

How long did it take you to get your AP? About the same time as EAD?

The cost of issuing AP and EAD is already built into the filing fee for adjustment of status. Has been since the fee structure change July 30th 2007

It would not have cost you anything more to apply for AP
