    Im husband and derivative of a greencard holder(eb3). I wasnt able to attend consular interview back in philippines due to my prior commitment abroad and then retrogression came, so I have to wait for my wife's priority date to be current again. Fast forward 2017. While on tourist visa our PD become current and we opted to adjust my status.

    Question: how long does it take for uscis to give notice of receipt?
    We submitted my papers/application last april 4 2017 its been a month and i havent got the receipt.
    From what ive read from these forum it only took them 2-3weeks.


    Answer/opinions are highly appreciated.

    I filed my AOS on 2/17, I didnt get my NOA notices until 3/11, I got my biometrics appointment a week later 3/18. Wish you the best

      Thank you so much for the reply. I was wondering coz its been more than a month since i filed and not even a receipt of notice. Theres also no way to check my status coz i dont have the notice.

        Yea that seems a little long. Maybe you should give them a call, not sure if they can give you any info, hopefully all is ok with your packet. Here is their customer service number 1 (800) 375-5283.

          Thanks jay, we already did call them. But to no avail coz we havnt got notice of receipt, they couldnt pull anything from their system without the notice. Kinda stuck right now
