Mail Notifications: 5/24 for all forms (from Lawyer)

      Notice Date: 5/15/17
Biometric NOA received: 05/26/2017 with scheduled appt on 06/08/2017

Will keep update. Wish we all good luck!
I'm wondering why chicago processes cases so fast! I should have applied gc in Chicago!

I wouldn't say that Chicago filers get the stuff processed faster. Maybe the initial stuff. I am a Chicago filer and I sent my applications 6/2, Chicago Lockbox got it 6/4, checks cashed and e-mail/text notifications received 6/6. I have two PD of 6/5 and 6/6. Received the paper notifications between 6/8 and 6/12 since I was out of state. On 6/17 I received a letter for my biometrics appointment for 6/28. Now just waiting. I think it's fast because we live close to Chicago Lockbox.

I agree with Walbrzyszanka21. I only have an update said my REF respond was received on 6/9 since my Bio on 6/7. Now waiting for almost two months still no update.

I have a new job offer (starting Sep 01, 2017) which I have had since before filing for AOS. I applied to expedite since my employers (a university teaching position) were getting antsy.

Jul 11, 2017: EAD Expedite request made (phone)
Jul 13, 2017: Email from USCIS asking for additional evidence
Jul 14, 2017: Evidence faxed (official offer letter w/ start date, letter from employer stating financial loss to company, cover letter stating financial loss to me, apartment lease and other documents showing need for continued income).
Jul 21, 2017: "New Card Is Being Produced" (USCIS website)

Now waiting for card to be shipped and received. From what I can see on the forums, this can be a very short or very long wait.

Interview status still unchanged (no dates yet). I applied in one state, moved to a new state for summer, and will move again for this new job to a 3rd state. I have no idea how the interview situation works—which state will I get an interview for? I suppose I will have to ask a lawyer.

              Thanks!

              Hi all,

I received my expedited EAD + AP card today. The status had changed to "Card being produced" status on the 21st, as I mentioned in a previous post. Here are the next steps:

Jul 26th: "Card shipped to your address on Jul 25th" — no tracking number in online status (I didn't call to ask).
Jul 26th: Received approval notices in mail for EAD and AP (separate mail pieces). AP status online remains "received your form ZZZ" although I received the paper approval notice.
Jul 28th: Received EAD/AP combo card in mail, USPS Priority mail "Flat Rate Window" envelope

Ergo: No tracking# on USCIS website and my online status did not change to "Approved" or whatever. After I made the expedite request and received their email for further info, the status was "expedite request completed" in the detailed notes area of the USCIS website. Evidently it took them a week or so to look at my faxed papers and make a decision.

The card is valid for 1 year, and therefore so is the AP authorization. I will likely have a very long wait for the interview because I am moving to NYC next month, and as I learned from a T2 officer on the phone, I will have to call them to move my file to the NYC office where it will wait to be scheduled, most likely at the back of the queue, all over again. Right now the file is in Boston, where the wait times are inordinately long anyway. However, I am glad that this stage is over (for now), and all I have to do is send the updated address related paperwork in just over a month's time.

I will likely have to renew my EAD before my spouse (US Citizen) and I get an interview. We have been married for 2+ years now, but were only married for 1 year 11 months when we filed for AOS. Hopefully I will not get a temporary green card.

              • SR RIGHT ON THE 75th DAY???

                Hi everyone.
                PD May 19th.
                Day 73 here.
Wondering if any of you with earlier May PD raised SR.
Should I do it right on day 75 or wait couple more days?
                Can you do it online?
Is it better to do it online or over the phone?
Does Memorial Day and 4th of July count in this days?
Is it even worth it to do the SR???
Currently on H1B Visa. Still valid till September 2nd.
So got about another month or so.
Anyone who is more experienced and went through the process please share the info.
                Thanks guys.

                  • 90 days today

Well today is day 90 since applying for AOS, EAD and AP. Still no updates, nor has the service request I made after 75 days yet been assigned to an officer. The wait continues...

I asked my lawyer to do a SR on the 75th day. So they finally did it yesterday (81 days) online and gave me the case ID number start with SR and end with MSC. How do you check your SR status online? I tried the https://egov.uscis.gov/foiawebstatus/ this web and the ID number that I have does not match the required number. So how did you guys do for checking the status? Did you get response by email or by mail?

                      • Concurrent filing and day 91 today

                        Hello fellow May filers:

I am currently on F1 based OPT but submitted Adjustment of Status application based on marriage.
                        Package included: I-130, I485, I-864, G325A, I-693, I-765, I-131

                        Mailing Date: 4/28
                        Priority Date: 5/3
                        Biometricst Date: 6/3
Ready to schedule interview notice on USCIS: 6/15
1st SR via phone on 75th day for EAD: 7/17 (told it will take 30days to respond)
e-request on 91st day for EAD: 8/2 (email notification states expect a reply by 8/14)

I am currently employed OPT based EAD. I sent in a "renewal" request for EAD card so I can work without restrictions based on the field of my study. I am wondering if the delay to issue me a new EAD card is because I already have a card based on my F1 status. Any thoughts?

                        Thanks!

                          • WOW! Your case move so fast! I am in the same situation but I got an RFE and no update since 6/9 when they got my response.

I don't think you have EAD will delay your new EAD card. I didn't apply renew and just wait for the EAD under the adjustment of status. My PD is May 10 and still nothing on the EAD and AP card.

That's so exhausted then. Hope we all have update during this month since most of April filers already have update on EAD cards.

When I log in to my account on the USCIS website and click on my EAD case receipt number, I see this message at the bottom of the page under "Next Steps"

As of July 18, 2017, your inquiry about the status of your Employment Authorization application, referral number SR **** **** ***MSC, is currently not assigned for processing.

The only email I recieved was an automated one acknowledging my inquiry and telling me I should hear something by August 9th.
