I have some questions whether I am qualified to file I-485 or not. My sister petitioned I-130 for me in 2000 when I came to the US and then changed my visa from B2 to F1 which is still my current status. I have an EAD card already working 20 hours/wk. I want to file for I-485 but I am not sure about it. My I-130 is still on process. Can I file for I-485? if yes, how will it affect my current status? How long does it take to adjust status?
