11/15/2018 response to uscis's request for evidence was received. Our Texas center office will begin working on your case again.
It was a birth certificate ! I was scared because I didn't have the original at the time i was born but i have a substitute that I applied in 2014 ! Translated and certified by rev.com and notified .

Hope that means that it is accepted ! Now i am gonna wait for the decision !

September 20, 2016: Asylum approved.
February 6, 2018: I-485 was received by the USCIS.
April 15, 2018: Biometric notice was sent after submitting an inquiry.
October 17, 2018: RFE was issued.
October 22, 2018: RFE was received by me.
October 24, 2018" RFE responded
October 31, 2017, RFE was received by USCIS
November 9, 2018: My card was being produced!
November 9, 2018: My case was approved!
November 12, 2018: Notice of Approval was received in mail!
November 16, 2018: I received the GC in mail!

My medical was received by TSC on the 17th of October and no updates since.

Notice for Green Card Interview

Hello guys,

I have a good news for you. Just yesterday I received interview notice for green card. I know it's pretty weird because I haven't seen anybody got an interview for green card based on asylum. My interview is in first week of December.

PD 10/23/2017 NSC
Then was transferred to local field office NY.

With the notice I was asked to fill an application of form I-864 (Affidavit of support)

I don't know for sure why I was asked for this. I am only individual for this application.

Hi guys,
I am an asylee since Dec 2013, asylum granted by IJ. I-485 received by TSC on Jan 09, 2017, still no news. No RFE, nothing. Online status stays on "Fingerprint fee was received". Biometrics done. Submitted SR last week after the case fell beyond processing times, received e-mail that USCIS is still extensively processing the application and they cannot provide any time frame at this time. Is anyone else in the same boat with me?

Yes, it is backdated to 2017.

How recently did they apply 3 months early and got approved? I'm aware it was possible several years ago but I am not so sure of recently.

Yes rayon6798 applied couple days before 1 year, you can go back to page 14 of this thread and find there his story:

Hey i received an update on August 30,2018 saying they denied my i-485 application because i filed a couple days before my 1 year been granted asylum.

So i had to file all over again, but i make sure send my application to Nebraska office and it was accepted so far. Praying that they don't transfer it at all
