If your old RTD is still valid and satisfy destination's validity requirements (many require 6 months), then yes.

Just note that USCIS will issue RFE requiring you to return your old RTD before they can approve your new I-131.

USCIS will not issue new RTD when your old one is still valid unless it has been returned.

It was pending and still is. I called to USCIS already couple of times and they just saying my application is pending. I didn't have any problem with returning back. Plus If you are holding RTD officer can't not let you in the country unless you are thread to the country.

My question was not about the reason why expedite request was made, but what to expect after denial. My wait time has changed from 668 days to 58 days after last notice (As of February 27, 2020, fingerprints relating to your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number SRCXXXXXXXXXX, have been applied to your case).

Yes you can. I just did it in Nov. my new RTD is still pending at Nebraska Center. They never ask me for old RTD and I have gotten like 3-4 RTD from them so far. Every 6 month I file for new one because you know most countries required RTD to be valid for 6 month.

however on my return back to US at LAX airport they always take me to secondary, I think the reason is because of traveling with RTD , I just have to wait for them to check everything and answer few simple questions. Then good to go.

              3/28/2018. Asylum approval
              5/1/2019 I-485 Green card application ( 32 months now)
              2/25/2020. Fingerprints
              12/13/20
usually when I send an application to the USCIS I always get a confirmation mail from Texas USCIS , but this time for my i131 I got a confirmation from Nebraska. am I supposed to worry about it?
Plus, I would like to know how long they take to deliver a Travel document. My trip in Europe is in February, im wondering if they will give me my RTD on time

In the past , when we checked processing times for Texas center , refugee travel document was listed. It’s not listed anymore. In fact , it’s processing times for RTD is only listed under Nebraska .

My guess is , now only Nebraska is processing RTD. And unfortunately it takes 6-8 months to process each application.

Your case will be processed without impact. Just like it does without the expedite request.

Your case has been pending for a while so I would expect some action taken within the next 6 months or so, lacking any security clearance issues. Hopefully sooner.

USCIS should have asked for your old RTD if when it process your case your old one is still valid.

So just to clarify, your old RTD expired when they approve the new one, right?

Tired of waiting , thanks. Did you also use an advance parole? Or only the refugee travel document?

Quick question - I just received notice that my case was transferred to another office.Has anyone received any?

I applied for an asylum based green card in March 2019 and still waiting. Texas Service Center.

                              Thanks

Just want to point out that unless you are an US Citizen, the officers always has the right to deny you entry if they found you inadmissible.

RTD or even a green card only give you a permission to apply for admission. that is never a right.

Of course, in reality, unless you committed crimes officers will let you in, though RTD will most likely result in a secondary inspection.
