Hey, have you heard anything or had any movement on your case since it got transferred from Texas to Nebraska? I guess you were one of the first person here who got transferred. Thanks

Hey, no update as of yet. I did submit an outside of normal processing request. But that’s just another useless feature UCSIS has.
It depends on the office processing your case.
Generally if your case is truly falls outside of the normal processing times, compared to other applicants in the same office, and don't have holding factors such as waivers, they will expedite the case.
As to the case transfers, it's unreasonable to expect immediate movement.
I have said multiple times, expect 6 months time. there is no point poking around and that won't make anything faster.
Nor is the queue First-In-First-Out, nor does it mean someone's case got processed and yours will be processed soon.
Lastly I want to point out the Asylum Division Stakeholder meeting finally was re-established after couple of years of cancelations. Please submit any questions or attending if you want to participate in the democracy process.
Nobody is gonna do anything if you only complain in this forum.

I have applied to I485 through one year asylum in December 2019 at TSC and last week i had a mail that my case is transferred to NBC, does this means that i will get interviewed and in what time frame this will be, also what the interview will be like, is it like the Asylum interview or it is about the I485 application?

Hey everyone
So based on what i read on this form most people apply for AOS their cases go first to MSC national benefit center and then after awhile they transfer it to either Texas or Nebraska Service center since they are the only offices who they issuing green card based on asylum

Did you submit I-693 (medical) at the time of initial filing?
Hopefully soon your GC journey ends with flying colors

yes I did submit it initially. The letter mentioned that my medical was over 2 years old and they needed a fresh one.
I have booked the remedial for next week. Fingers crossed.

Congrats, hopefully you will receive your GC soon. How long did it take for you to receive the RFE after you received the notice of transfer from TSC to NSC? In another words, what is the time period between receiving the transfer notice and the RFE? Thanks

If you don't mind the exam fee, you can schedule your exam today and your sealed envelope will be valid for 2 years since signature date.
In theory you can mail your exam directly to USCIS without waiting for RFE, but that has some chance to get it lost. You can ask two copies from the physician, most will agree to do that, mail one and keep another one incase of RFE.
this will help you reduce the waiting time vs having to schedule and wait when issued RFE.
