Hello everyone,
DEC 2019 filed for I-485 (GC) at TSC
Feb 2022 Request for additional Evidence was sent
Does anyone receive additional evidence request? what did they ask for?
what is the difference between Request for Evidence Vs Request for additional evidence?
If they need only Medical and Photos, then it should have been Initial Evidence. But they are asking for additional Evidence?
I am confused and little curious what it might be.

It's almost certain to be expired medical. Even if it's not, it would be something straightforward to address, otherwise they generally refer your case for an interview.
Also medical is never RFIE because the initial evidence does not involve medical.

Why do some cases require an interview? Is it something concerning to have an interview?
You can see some of the reasons a case require an interview here. https://www.uscis.gov/policy-manual/...rt-a-chapter-5

Hi Guys,
My case was transferred to Asylum Office in 2020, and after two congresswoman inquiries, my case was transferred to my local office three days ago. Today, my case was updated again and showed my case is transferred to another office that has jurisdiction. I contacted the USCIS it mentioned my case is now assigned to National Benefits Center, so I usually see people's cases transferred to the national benefits center and then to the local office for an interview, but I never see from a local field office back to NBC.
Does anyone have any visibility on this?
Thanks a lotLast edited by cmas95; 02-24-2022, 11:22 PM.

That said, what you heard from the customer service is most likely wrong.
Regardless, you should not panic like this and over think.
There is nothing you can do but wait unless you want to file a lawsuit.
Not sure what notifications you are talking about the transfers but generally, there will be two notifications, one is saying the case is being transferred the other, generally couple of days later, is saying the case has been transferred and another office now has jurisdiction. This matched what you seem to suggest.
If that’s the case your case is only transferred once.
Just don’t read too much into this and relax

Guys, I got great news! I applied for a green card in 2019 May and My case was transferred to Nebraska in Jan 2022. I got an email 10 min ago, I checked my status and it says:
New Card Is Being Produced
I still can't believe it! Finally after 34 months.
