Asylum Based i-485

Did anyone received any update on their I-485 after the biometrics done in the Jan and February, 2020?

Its been two weeks my EAD got stuck in "New card is being produced". Never changed to approval and card mailed yet.

Do guys thinks it has something to do with my I-485 approval that's why my EAD got stuck ?

I hope that is true and God please help me to get that dream come true .

It's officially my 14th month of waiting since March 2019 at TSC. I have no clue how many more would it take me to become a resident and get "accepted". Getting the card actually means "being accepted" to my new world.

I also have a feeling that there is a GC issuance limit order (a quota) for TSC, that's why the processing time is that slow.

Been following this forum for a while. Need some advice..

October 2018 Asylum approved;
October 2019 Application for i485 received by Nebraska SC;
November 13 Fingerprints applied to application i485. Since then nothing. Should I call and make inquiry regarding the case?

Update: Finally got RFE on April 23, 2020.

I don't think Asylum GC come under any quota or any service center.

Why do you think Nebraska Service Center process faster and lot of cases all the time because they are good at their job.

I didn't submit medical documents when i filed for i485, so hopefully it would be about it. Interesting thing is my wife didn't get RFE(different asylum cases) event thought we were granted same day, and submitted applications and finger prints on the same day

Asylum granted April 2017
Filed 1485 - May 2018
Fingerprint and medicals submitted - October 2018
Case showing being processed in TCS.

I gave them a ring on Friday and the operator told me that my case had been transferred to Nebraska Service Centre last year and I should check back after 3 months.

Can anyone help as to why my case was transferred to Nebraska Service Centre? And why it is taking so long?

Normally when the case is moved from TSC to NSC, there should be a notification alert on the case as well as they should be sending the letter saying it has been transferred.

Did you get any mail regarding the transfer ?

Did you ask when it was transferred (How long ago) ?

You know NSC is very fast, even if it was transferred, it shouldn't take this long.

I guess you need to talk to Tier-2 customer service If you don't have enough details.
