Asylum Based i-485

Hi i am principle applicant asylum approved on aug 28 2018 and applied for i485 on aug 28 2019 in Texas Service Center no biometric appointment it only shows fingerprint fee was received and now on june 17 case was transfer to another office

My husband applied GC in April 2019 still no update on the case. You should be happy that your case is moving and even if there is an interview, it should be simple and about your case. Don't worry about it much I know how it feel.

We have similar timeline. Applied in May 2019. Fingerprints redone in Feb2020. Nothing since

October 10, 2018 case transferred to TSC
NOTHING SINCE THEN.

Bobby69 Current processing time for I-485 is 6.5 to 22 months and people who sent the application before August 29, 2018 at TSC and it seems like you are eligible to submit the e-request for Outside Normal Processing. Below are links where you can submit

1. USCIS e-request: Here is the link where you can submit : https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/dis...oPageType=onpt

2. Case Assistance Request with the Ombudsman's Office: You can try submitting one more request here on https://www.dhs.gov/topic/cis-ombuds...ion-forms/7001

Submit request on both 1 and 2 and see if it works. I never did it but I heard that worked for some people.

You should submit in Ombudsman's Office too and see if you get any response from them.

According to the processing times, you should have got the decision by this time. You should call customer service and ask them to transfer the call to Level-2 who will be the Adjudication Officer and ask them that what's going on with your case ?

Can you please share you timelines from asylum till now ?

Hey guys. I want to post my timeline for my pending I-485 based on Asylum grant.

Jan 6, 2016: Asylum Approved by IJ. (My birth country is not a part of that unpopular travel plan)

Jan 8, 2017: Application to register for Permanent resident I-485 sent. Texas service center.

Jan 15, 2017: Application received and a case number was assigned.

Feb 12, 2017: Biometrics done

Awaiting approval! Will update once I get the final decision!

I don't know why they are moving whether to streamline processes by consolidating operations or may be downgrading because of the budget issue lol.

hi guys today i received my case transfer notice which says " in order to processing faster we transferred the application or petition" does it mean i will get my case decision soon or its just a generic message ?

I saw 1 case approves I 485 tsc same Rome was applied July 2019

Not asylum,,,,I saw a couple filed in JUly 2019 ,had already been processed and card sent

These are mostly employment based , probably they paid/requested premium processing ,which isnt an option for asylum based GC.
