i talked to USCIS .the lady said my case adjudicating officer made a mistake on my decision. she submitted a service request and asked me to wait for email response until 10/11/2022.
i do not know what else can i do if i do not get any response from them .
nobody is going to be able to help you especially considering the complexity of the case and you yourself did not even mention all the facts and details around the case.

That said, as I always say, just wait. Nothing else you can do. Just wait.

Also - I-131 if you choose correctly (RTD) it should has nothing to do with your green card (unless you applied under another category). Asylum based LPR can still receive RTD.

If that's the case and you need RTD, you should review the notice they sent you, and reapply. Once you get the new receipt, you can expedite the case as prior case is clearly USCIS error. You can also try to contact the ombudsman but that would generally take longer. You can also do both.

For the green card case, it seems you should receive some decision soon. They said 10/11, please just wait. Even if you receive no response, just wait.

today i received email from uscis about my service request . their response is :
The status of this service request is:

Our records indicate that your application was denied or terminated on 09/30/2022. Since the date we received your request, we have reviewed the decision made on your case and have determined there was no service error.

USCIS records indicate that the correct I-131 receipt number is MSC!!!!!!!0004. This number should be used in any further interaction with USCIS.

my initial application for i131 was based on pending i485 based on asylum approved year ago .(Previous receipt number was IOE*****473 ) Now they provided me with new receipt number for the same application.

upon checking status for New receipt number it shows: "On October 4, 2022, we transferred your Form I-131, Application for Travel Document, Receipt Number MSC******0004, to another office for processing and sent you a transfer notice. The notice explains why we transferred your case."

old receipt number status shows as :"On September 30, 2022, we closed your Form I-131, Application for Travel Document, Receipt Number IOE******7473, because the applicant or petitioner received a status or benefit through other means."

one says my case is closed because i already received benefits through other means, the new receipt says my case was transferred from one office to another . Why their story does not match ? My case was already on National Benefit Center and according to new receipt number it was still transferred to National Benefit Center.

That's why nobody is able to help you.

You seem to have a couple of cases pending, without knowing all the details and what you submitted, nobody knows.

Based on USCIS response, as they pointed out, use the different receipt number. As long as it's the same A #, you should receive something once it's approved.

You can also call USCIS and ask to make sure the MSC receipt # has your A# and correct address.

i checked the new receipt which i recieved today and it has my correct A number and mailing address.

so flando , will they treat my application as new application since they provided me with new receipt number ? am i now on back of a queue? i filled my application april 11,2020, almost 7 months now.
i read somewhere that even if they transfer case to different office, receipt number will be the same .

can i ask tier 2 officer to expedite my application based on humanitarian reasons because i have an urgent reasons to travel and also i already waited this long ?

            • Hi everyone, after over 3 years of waiting, I finally got the approval notice for my I485 today, I just want to say thank you to flando for your continued support for this forum, and please listen to him, honestly I was so frustrated when my case transfer to an asylum office back in 2020, but the truth is, the only thing we can do it to be patient and wait to hear back. I know the waiting game is hard, but it will happen sooner or later.

Here is my timeline for my case:
October 5, 2022 Case Was Approved
October 4, 2022 We ordered your new card.
September 30, 2022 We received your correspondence for Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status.
September 7, 2022 We sent a request for initial evidence for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status.
February 24, 2022 We transferred your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, to another USCIS office that now has jurisdiction over your case.
January 13, 2020 We transferred your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, to an asylum office for processing
October 10, 2019The fingerprints relating to your Form I-485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, were taken.
August 26, 2019 We accepted the fingerprint fee for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status. Our Nebraska Service Center location is working on your case.

You always have the option to put in expedite request.

However, based on what you have told, you does not seem to be eligible as the case is still under processing times.

I have see all cases pending 10+ months.

It’s from my local office which is Oregon they receive my medical on Friday and approved on the following Tuesday. I guess the speed is really based on officer availability and the amount of application. Maybe my state have fewer application to adjust so it’s faster while other big state or service center have large amount of application so the wait is longer

                        • I received a response from my congresswoman after she enquired about my case with USCIS. This is what it states.

A review of USCIS records shows this I-485 was recently transferred to the USCIS Denver Field Office last week.

I live in Georgia & I am wondering why my case was transferred to the USCIS Denver field office.

My case status has not been updated to show this information.

There is no point of needless speculations on things you cannot control.

It doesn't matter why it's being transferred to this office.

You need to wait, or file a lawsuit.

They can transfer the case to any office for adjudication if an interview is not required.

Regardless, you just need to wait.

                              • Does renewing my country passport without using it for travel affect my U.S. citizenship in future? I will need to use because the country that I wanna get married there didn’t accept my Travel documents.
