  • What is 1099s form?

I honestly don't know what is 1099s form but it is related to tax return. I have received RFE of my wife affidavit of support and she needs to add her W2 and may also 1099s form. By googling, Form 1099-S is used to report gross proceeds from the sale or exchange of real estate and certain royalty payments. A 1099-S form must be provided to the recipient and a copy mailed or e-filed to the IRS.
My wife doesn't have any property. So what should we do?

The evidence request was probably asking for 1099-MISC or Social Security benefits copies. By "1099s." the reviewer just wanted third-party proof of income. 1099-MISC's are self-employment (contractor) or similar income, rather than wage earner income (W2 forms).

Is she employed? Everyone working gets either a 1099 or W2. Ask employer for copies of W2 and send those.

If she has no proof of income (W2's, 1099-MISC, Social Security documents), from where does her income come? If she doesn't have any proof of annual income, even with pay stubs for current income this year, you need to provide an explanation in writing for why she did not file an income tax return, and then come up with a co-sponsor.
