J-1 Waiver & AOS

Hi,

I am about to file my J-1 waiver and plan on filling AOS 1.5-2 months after that. Would I receive a temp EAD while my J-1 waiver is pending or they won't issue one until later?

You can't apply for AOS until the J-1 waiver is approved.

I did apply for the waiver, and waited to apply for GG, there is 3 ways to do it, a attorney told me to wait until i receive the waiver to apply to the GG, but online says that you can apply for gg first them apply for the waiver, or apply for both together, such i shold have done it, i thought it wasa taking to long so I decide to apply for GG befeore i reveived the waiver, so i did, but 2 weeks after i got the waiver, and on the formI-485 i marked the box that asked aboit it, they didnt raise a flag, not and my process is going on the right time frame and no problems at all. so apply for both you will get it with no problem, hope my case helps.
