                • PD 06/20, approved on the spot on 10/06 in LA Field office.

                  Hi guys,

Thank you all of you guys for sharing all these useful info. I just wanted to add my experience.

I'd been out of status since 2002 and recently married my USC wife. I'm from China, my wife is from here and it's an interracial marriage, if that makes any differences. We are in the same age, and work in the same industry.

                  Here is my timeline -

                  Married in early May, 2017
06/20 - PD at LA Field Office, filed I-485, I-130 and I-765, no lawyer was involved.
06/26 - all receipts in hands.
                  07/01 - Bio Notice
07/13 - Bio done (walked in early)
07/19 - Case Ready To Be Scheduled For Interview.
                  09/05 - Interview Scheduled for 10/05
                  09/26 - EAD In Production
                  09/29 - EAD Was Mailed
10/05 - Interview at 2:15pm. Approved on the spot.

We weren't asked any tricky questions. The IO was very nice and verified everything on the forms, asked me the YES/NO questions, and asked to see joint docs and photos.

The interview took about 35 mins, and then the IO asked us to wait outside while he was verifying something. In about 10 mins, he walked out and handed me the approval letter.

My online status has not changes as I'm typing this. Also, I still haven't received my EAD card yet.

My entire journey took 107 days from submitting the applications to getting approved.

Good luck to everyone and please let me know if you have any questions.

                    • San Antonio Field Office, Texas

Hi guys!! I am really anxious about all this process!!!
                      Here is my timeline -

                      Married in June, 2017
06/28 - PD at SA Field Office, filed I-485, I-130 and I-765, I-131, no lawyer was involved.
                      07/05 - Sent medical records.
                      07/10 - Cases were received
                      07/14 - Bio Notice
                      08/02 - Bio done
08/14 - Case Ready To Be Scheduled For Interview (website)

till this day, nothing has changed. We waited for the 90 days.
We're thinking to make an Infopass and have an interview to ask the questions that we have, which is basically -whats holding the process... -

please let me know if you have a similar timeline, or if you HAD one, what have you done, I receive ANY suggestions!!

                        • Update

                          PD is 6/5 (6/6 on I-485), biometrics notice 6/17, biometrics 6/28 (not a walk-in).

Service request 9/2 with anticipated 9/24 response. Did not receive any and the SR was not assigned to anyone.

10/3 walked in to the congressman's office to fill out a privacy release form. I previously contacted them via the website about doing a case inquiry.

I called the congressman's office today and the lady rep, who was very kind, said that she is assigning my case to a rep (I believe she is in the DC office). Fingers crossed that I hear something soon. I really dislike checking the USCIS website and seeing that nothing has changed on any of my cases. So far no EAD or interview. The rep lady said that after the case inquiry, I should go straight to the interview but we will see. It would be great to get the interview but I need certainty that I will get the EAD before January 2018.

I had been reading your posts about your frustration with delay in processing your EAD.

I'm assuming you didn't get any update on USCIS's website on your case for form I-485?
