Did you get any update on interview?
I got my EAD (and a new job) 2 weeks ago but no words on interview yet.
My PD is 05/05 but clock reset to 06/27 because of RFIE, filing in Raleigh-Durham office (thru NBC)

I don't have news from the interview, but it is funny, because I got an appointment for the interview to go in August 24th (yes, I applied in June 6th...) but then it got cancelled and no news since then. I was more worried about the EAD because I need to start working ASAP. I still showed up to the cancelled interview but they sent us home.

My PD is 6/5 but my biometrics was 6/28. I believe that since you did a walk-in earlier than scheduled, that may have helped speed up the process. I hope, fingers crossed, that I hear something.

Sorry for my frustration which is directed at USCIS but how is it that people with PD dates after other's PD dates get their EADs faster? This frustrates me. My PD is 6/5 and I still have heard nothing on my EAD. Nothing against you apollox but I am just frustrated with the process and how some applications go faster. My apologies.

Maybe they saw you already have a work permit and the immigration officer working on your case made you a lower priority so that other people can start working and earn a living, just a guess.

That may be true but I paid the same amount for the forms to get done in equal manner/time as everybody else. I may have my EAD now but I need to know before October 5th if I will get it or not.

I am pretty sure that no one has a right to be granted benefits with USCIS within a certain amount of time with many people having waited over 120 days for EAD here on the forum. They will just say send us a message after 75/90 days and we will look into it. Also they won't be concerned about the October 5th deadline since that deadline doesn't mean that your current work permit thats valid until January will expire so thats that. You will have the new EAD by January, I mean they are slow but they don't take 6 months to arrive What might happen is that for the month of your submission and consequential PD date or the batch your application is in you are considered low priority due to your already existing work rights.

                    • Timeline update - interview scheduled!

                      Hi Everyone!

Last Thursday the 14th of Sept I awoke at 4am to an email saying my case had been updated. Went online to check thinking it would be my EAD being approved but instead was surprised to see that my interview has been scheduled for next month on October 16th at 12:15pm! My husband and I are happy to see things moving so quickly

My EAD and I-130 are still at "Case was Received".

Have a great day and here's a quick summary of my timeline below!

                      PD: June 19th
                      BIO: July 14th
RFE: July 16th (For missing form I-130A)
RFE Response received by USCIS: July 19th
Interview Scheduled: September 14th (For October 16th)
                      Interview Notice Received: September 18th

Filing from Los Angeles. Case was received at NBC and my interview will take place at the Los Angeles Field Office.

Due to workload factors not related to your case, USCIS anticipates a delay in completing your case. USCIS is committed to adjudicating immigration benefits in the order received and in a timely and efficient manner. We regret any inconvenience that results from delays in processing.
