I-765 and i-485 are denied but an initial interview is scheduled

Hi Friends,

I and my spouse got married in July,2016. We had filed I-130 ( Petition for Alien Relative ) since then and it was approved. Also, we did form I-765 ( Application for Employment Authorization) and form I-485 ( Application to Register Permanent Residence) two months after I-130 was approved. I did the biometrics/ finger printing in September 2016.

Then, in March 14 both of my I-765 and I-485 were declined! We did not even know what was wrong with my applications and why they denied them. So we decided to do everything again as we moved to another states. However, a week after my new application was submitted, a mail from USCIS came and told that we are going to have an initial interview on June 14, 2017. It's only 2 weeks away !!! And we don't have anything together even tho our relationship is real.

P/S: I was on an F1 visa but have been out of status for a year. I thought when my I-765 is approved I could have get the Social Security Number and working permit to go to work and join my sponsor's bank account. But things didn't happen as I expected.

Is there anyone have gone through the same situation? Know anything about my case or how can I prove to the officer that my relationship is real ?

pictures with the two of you, with family and friends.

The names of the people in the pictures and the dates need to be written on the back.

As many as you can. I'm not sure about the amount but I would gather a set of pictures that tells the story of your relationship from the beginning, until now.

You can also take copies of correspondence, like email and texts with you. Take certified copies.

Also take all legal documents that proves your relationship, like original marriage certificate and the other original documents that you submitted, with your initial application, to the interview.

........you definitely need alot of pictures if u sont have any go to many different places with different clothes, i know it might sound fishy but u gonna have to alter the truth a little and say those photos were taken on different dates than these 2 weeks from the interview, i.e, birthdays, xmas, go home and wear xmas stuff invite friends n family take lots of pictures l, go to the cine take more, restaurants different ones with dif cloths, buy some cakes take pics and be eating in dif places etc u get where i'm going.oth ur names will do or anything actually, other ppl might have better ideas and do what ever ur heart tells you to do, remember is not lieing is just altering the truth since your marriage is real u don't need to worry much about little details .....................

And also they required to bring "any immigration-documents related to you, including EDA and AP. I don't have neither one. So how can I check in ?

Hi, i've seem many ppl saying that the name of ppl and date in picture needs to be written in the back, why is that? Is it mandatory? Are my pics going to be less worthy if not that way?

Stop giving people bad advice. What you telling him to do is to manufacture evidence.

I-130 interview updated and question

Hey guys,

So I'm here to update on what's going with my case. My interview was on June 14, 2017. The lady who interviewed us said that we were there for the I-130 interview and we still need to apply for the i-485 in order to get the green card ( which was denied on March of 2017 ). The interview did not really went well because I was kinda nervous so some of our answers did not match. However 6 weeks after our case finally got approved !!!! Hooray !!!

But the thing is that I'm actually confused of what to do next. Do I still need to apply for the i-485 ? Or I won't need to do anything and will eventually get a green card? The notice says that " The petition indicates that the beneficiary is in the U.S and wishes to apply for adjustment of status to that of a lawful permanent resident. He or she should submit a copy of this notice along with a Form I-485..."

Anyone has had the same situation, please help !! I really really appreciate it.

Update us! Did you get your green card?

Didnyou have to do something else? It looks like they made an error in every single process but they still gave you An approval.
