What does it mean when they are holding your case for review? Does that mean your case will be approved or denied?

All that really means is that your case has not been completed at this stage.

When we had our interview we were handed a letter from the Immigration Officer that was headed "Reason For Continuance" and under that was a box checked "Your case is being held for review".

The following day I received email notification that my green card was in production with another email notification the following day saying the I-485 application was approved.

All that status means is that there has been no decision made on your case as of that time and a decision is pending. Your case can either be approved or denied still‚ just as it could have been at any time in the process. All that status really means is that a decision is still pending

Im hoping that you were approved....Sorry to come out of the blue, I am in the same situation as you were back in July. Any updates?

How about the the paper that said a decision can not yet be made on your petition or application now. Is it the same thing with review or what. Just asking based on tour guys thread.
