I-485 waiting a long time!

Hi there,

My i-485 has been with US Immigration since January this year and though they asked me for my proof of legal entry into country which they received in March there has been no progress or communication with them since.

Did not use an immigration lawyer for this but wondered since the new administration, are there hold ups and is there any way I can speak to someone at US immigration direct?

its only been 6 months so you are still well within normal processing times. And besides an RFE stops the clock until they receive whatever they asked for.
