  • Interview on 7/7/17

Our interview date is next Friday, 7/7/17 at 9:30am and 2 job interviews the same day. I don't know if it's true that after the interview I have to give back my EAD card.

I'm concern that I won't have anything to show that I'm authorized to work. I am being offered with my dream job and I don't want to miss this opportunity.

No you need not give back your EAD card. If your AOS is declined on the spot (a very remote probability) then your EAD becomes null and void. Typically such an event does not happen. They would send you a RFE or NOIR if they think your case does not meet acceptance requirements, rather than reject your petition on the spot.

Just an opinion; Not legal advice.

Its on a case by case basis. Some officers take EAD if case is approved on the spot. Best course of action is to inform officer why you need the EAD if he ask to take it. Officers are people too and are as reasonable as most other people.
