My husband can't find his birth certificate. We reordered not sure if we will get it in time. We had already sent in a copy last year, now need the original. The most we have, which we have to look for is an expired passport. Help.

keep looking for it or hope that the one you ordered gets here in time. Depending on where you live you can try to get his passport renewed expressly and use that.

I know all too well the anxiety of leading up to that important moment...i was in a panic when I couldn't not locate my I94 but at the interview the IO didn't not ask me for it, I was only asked for my ID and passport but due to questions and her requesting other info I never even produced it. If it was already submitted try not to go crazy. Good luck!

Yes you can but it has to be a real emergency. I have heard too many horror stories about postponed interviews that i personally would not reschedule under almost all circumstances.
