Hello my husband is filing for Adjustment of Status. But one of the requirements they ask is that you need to make a certain amount of money. The problem is that for the last income my husband filled is below the poverty line that immigration requires. And is below poverty line because my husband started working in the middle of the year so it shows less than what he really makes in a year. Financially he is above the poverty line for immigration. Is there a way we could prove his actual income in a year and not need a sponsor's help? Please help.

    Sincerely,
    Gina

Do either of you have assets? My husband had very little income but I own the house we live in and the rules said we could count our assets to make up for the difference, so that worked.
