Hello there,
My wife and I have been waiting for almost 3 years now; lots of delays due to missing paperwork and incompetent lawyers. I received an update to my I485 application yesterday.
New Card Is Being Produced
On July 5, 2017, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number xxx, and will mail it to the address you gave us.
I was wondering if anybody can confirm that this means our application has been approved? The email USCIS sent out says it could either be a green card or EAD. But we did file an i765 separately and got the EAD status updated on that application. However, it had since expired (2 months ago).
This step applies to applications that result in an applicant receiving a card (such as a "green card") or other document (such as a naturalization certificate, employment authorization document, travel document, or advance parole). Applications
Should we have cause for an early celebration or not quite? We're just really excited to hear anything from USCIS these days. Took them 6 months to schedule our interview.
Best.
