Does anyone living in Houston file I485 AOS around July 2016 that have got their interview date already ?


I file i485 using Houston lawyer for both of my parents, both have EAD card already, replies to RFE already, status online still at RFE received but nothing change since Dec.
anyone have a similar situation please let me know.

Call and submit a case inquiry, that might help since others are sharing that immediately after they call and ask about their case status/progress, the status changes the next day or so. Give it a try. But it might be different for your parents. How are they adjusting their status? Thru you?

Yes. Through me , I sent a request online for a case inquiries every month. but they all send the replies back saying that due to over load application not related to my cases, my parents application are not reach their turn yet.

Some people file in July 2016 or Aug 2016 they all got interview date already, but mines is taking forver.

I filed since May 2016. The only thing I got by July of that year was the EAD. I received a notification back in march 2017 of completing the remainder of the medical report with a civil surgeon which I did and submitted immediately. Currently my status has been pending since Aril 5th of this year and I have yet to receive an interview date. and I have filed since 2016. Don't know what the delay is on why its taking so long for us.

Yep Since March. Submitted what they asked for and they acknowledged it by April 5th. haven't heard anything since.

dude did you request case outside normal pending time online ?
I requested it every months and still got answer sometime saying because of numbers of applications therefore is not my parents turns yet.

I filed in May 2016 and got my interview in late June 2017. Every month I checked the dates they were processing and it seemed that the delay increased with every month. I wouldn't be surprised if July 2016 filings had to wait until September. Houston is very far behind on processing.

Yes, there are forms that is new and the whole USCIS thing is mess up. im so disappointed cause my parents leave their jobs in overseas country to come here thinking it would be faster because of parents. Now they have to wait over 1 year.

I filed in June 2016 and still waiting. They are still at June 2016 cases. couple more months buddy!
