    I765 After I485

I am assuming I already know the answer to this, but hoping I am wrong.

I have a PD of July for my I485, however I did not submit my I765 until a later date. Does the 90 day timeline for the I765 start from the date it was received or from when the initial case was received?

                      interview date 11/22

and I submitted an online SR on 10/05 for my EAD card. Hant heard back since and I called in yesterday which was 10/26 and requested to talk to a level 2 officer. She called me back later and asked about my problem. I talked to her nicely explaining I am waiting for my EAD card and even though my interview was scheduled in Nov I still want to get my EAD card and start working. She was nice enough to send in a request to have my EAD EXPEDITED. The online status of EAD was still " received the fee ect..," until yesterday. And today on 10/27, the online status changed to " we sumitted the request to expedite your EAD card ect..." this morning. I thought I was going to wait for another week or so, even that lady told me it might take up to a week for USCIS to respond to the expedite request, but guess what: the status just changed to we ordered a card for you...and will mail it to you to the address you provided..."

So I guess they do not need any evidence for expedite request in my case. I was thinking to get an offer first since I am having an interview later next week.

I received same employment card the one that is for a year. I live in Dallas. My question is it safe to travel to El Paso TX . No cross to Mexico. I'm wondering since immigration has a check point when you are driving out the city.

                        • Nothing since July! No EAD, AP, or Interview from MSC

                          Hello,

Me and my husband applied for his green card. MSC (NBC) received everything:

7/12 - everything received at National Benefits Center
                          8/7- Biometrics done
8/14 You are ready to be scheduled for an interview

literally that is all. We have not received his work permit or travel document which we needed for November. And no interview date since August. Is it NBC specifically? Our lawyer left an inquiry two weeks ago but we haven't heard back since then.

                          What should I do?

I called the uscis national hotline. And you can skip the whole machine generated answers by typing 112111, if I remember correctly, if not then try google it online, you can find it easily. When the person answers, she is the level 1, just explain her what is your situation, she is going to tell you information that is useless anyways, then ask nicely if you could speak to a level 2 officer. I did it and she just transferred my call to a level 2. And when talking to level 2, I guess it depends on luck as well, I have heard and read so much about people saying they were asked to provide evidence such as an offer from work, but in my case I did not provide anything. I just asked her if she could send in a request to have my ead expedited. Mind you though, my interview had been scheduled by that point and she was aware of that, that could why she helped me out.

Thank you for sharing. I have the same timeline as you.

07/05 - everything received at NBC
                                8/31 - biometrics done

Heard nothing since. It's been 127 days. I raised a service request over the phone at 90 days, waited 30 days and didn't hear anything back. I called and asked to speak with a Level 2 officer. He told me that my case is in line to be reviewed and that I just need to be patient and check the NBC processing times online. He said they are stll working on cases from May, this was 10 days ago. Yesterday, I saw online that NBC processing times for I-765 (EAD) is cases received from the 15th of September which means we should have got our workpermits already, so I submitted a new SR online and said that there has been no update to my case and it says NBC are processing cases 2 months after my case was received. Not heard anything back. Will keep you posted. I am so beyond ready to start working and getting my workpermit. Also, my husband is a chief in the Navy and I checked this off on the online service request.
