Such relief! I am praying it falls on a date we can both take off work
Congrats! It will probably be on or around July 12th - July 17th. I would give your boss the heads up. This is not something you want to reschedule.

When did you submit your I-693?

You have 1 year to submit the I-693 from the date the exam was completed. Then, it's valid for 1 more year from the date USCIS receives it. That's why it's a good idea to wait for that courtesy letter telling you to bring it to the interview.

Simple pimple. There are 365 days between 07/26/17 & 07/25/18. That's when your medical exam expires. If you are approved on the spot verbally, or say that the ISO tells you two weeks, then gently say something like "Oh two weeks, that's right on the expiration of my medical exam". That way the ISO is aware of that.

So my unsolicited recommendation to you is to shoot for an approval on the spot. You might find this link and its contents useful. Others have.

Let me know if you need anything!

Thank you so much for the useful info. I will go through that link tomorrow from my computer. Also, which one is considered the submission date.. I went to double check and date received is 7/20 and notice date is 7/26 ..

The submission date becomes the date USCIS receives the I-693; i,e., your priority date which should be listed as priority date on your I-797. Priority date is not the same as "notice date". Notice date is the date the notice was issued.

                  • Anyone apply from Salt Lake City

                    Hi all,
Has anyone applied from Salt Lake City by any chance. I had my biometric appointment 1 year ago and I have been waiting for an interview since that time. Just wondering if anyone nearby is in the same boat. Thanks for your time.

                            • Still hopefully waiting!

Do you guys know if this will affect my case in anyway? https://imgur.com/MH8wZi2

We don't need a lawyer. We had a person assist us with filling out our application but he won't be coming to the interview with us (whenever that's scheduled). Will all future NOA be sent out to us? My I-102 approval notice arrived to my house last week so i'm assuming anything I-130 and I-485 related will follow up to my address as well?

                              Thanks!
