  • Separate checks or one combined check?

For filing fee. Do I need to write separate $1140 and $85 checks for I-485 and biometrics fees? or can I just write a combined $1225 check?

(Btw, I have a separate check for I-130, cause it is already filed in its own envelope.)

We sent our application with TWO checks total.

One for the I-130 and one for the I-485 including the biometrics fee. So yes a check for $1225 for your I-485 including biometrics is correct

I sent two checks. One for I-130 $535 and I-485 $1,225 (in the memo I wrote I-485 and biometrics fee). Some people send one check but the preference is yours.
