Hello Friends,

I am an Indian and my case is filed through cross filing with my spouse being of Japanese nationality.
We just received our EAD 2 days before (glad the process went well in our case)

I am wondering how much time approximately it should take for my I-485 Adjustment of Status result to come out considering things go well.

I would appreciate any suggestions on this. Thank you.

It varies from person to person but if you look at threads like the January submission, there are people who already got their GC. But there are people who submitted their forms last year and still haven't received it.

Yes, this is true. It also depends on where your field office is because some field offices are severely backlogged. I filed in September 2016 and only got interviewed and approved yesterday - 10 months later. Getting the EAD was the easy part.

USCIS received my forms on November 7, 2016; I still haven't got the interview notice :-(

Notice not received

I filled for adjustment of status and got a second notice for request for initial evidence posted on the 13th of July, I saw this when I checked my case status. Today is 21st of July and I haven't received the mail yet...more than 4 work days. Please can anyone suggest what I should do.

11/30/2016............ applied for EAD and Travel doc ( based on a job she has)
11/30/2016 ............. applied for Green card ( I-485) and biometrics done
04/28/2017 ........... EAD and AP received
until date............... still waiting for any update on her adjust of status process.

submitted my files September 9th , did interview November 17th 2016 , got approved by the officer on the spot , she called me 10 min latter to tell me that she did a mistake and she cant approve me yet , today is 7/24/17 and i have received anything .
