I tried to ask my HR what updates I need to make but she was not very helpful or maybe I asked the wrong questions. What forms should I change? What information should I update? I assume you mean Human Resources at your work?

You already have some form of work authorization on file with your company? Did you apply for an EAD‚ do you need one? Do you have a SSN already?

If you are authorized to work and that is still valid and they have that on file. What would you need to change at this point?

I have EAD through DACA and SSN. I meant like put my husband as the beneficiary for my 401K or the tax forms and the address of where I live.

Yes, you can update those things, but those things have nothing to do with immigration.

This is my personal opinion and is not to be construed as legal advice.
