  • When to file I-693

Is form I-693 part of the (I-130, I-485 and I-765 package) for AOS? I can't seem to find any specific timeline on when to go for the medical.
    Not legal advice.

You should do your medical examination and send it in with all of the other forms. Sometimes, since the process may take over a year, they will ask you to do your medical examination again before you come in for an interview.

Some people just wait to get an RFE. If you deliver it together with all other forms and takes more than 12 months, you will have to re-do it anyway. So...if you don`t want to spend $$$ you can just wait. Some doctors charge 400 USD!!
