Hello guys,

Any inputs will be greatly appreciated. Has anybody been through this? My wife and I had our AOS interview April 24th. At the end, we were sure if the officer was convinced, but since we had an approved I-130, we didn't bring a WHOLE lot of evidence. At the end, she said she was gonna send us a mail to request for more documents. We just received another interview LETTER, what the hell? What should we expect, will we be separated? We had a stokes interview in 2012 and passed it and had our I-130 approved, now another stokes INTERVIEW?

Don't take this the wrong way but there has to be more to this story. I don't understand how you had a stokes interview in 2012, got approved and now you have another interview...
Immigration see or found some red flags with your case.
My suggestion is to be truthful during interview, if you don't remember something do not make or guess an answer. Remember they will fact check everything. Make sure you know all there is to know about the petitioner and where you reside. Good luck!!!!!

We believe this is perhaps due to the fact we don't have a joint bank account, and didnt file taxes together this year because my wife owes a big amount and the refund would have been all taken away. Hopefully someone who has been through this will chime in on what to expect

For the future, you could have filed under injured Spouse which you protect the person who is not responsible for the debt. Next time ask the tax agent about it.
I have not experienced a stokes interview but I did some research on what to expect... you can find a myriad of questions to help you prep. Based on what I read, you guys will be separated. Keep the faith and good luck sincerely.
