I know this is probably not relevant to AOS but it really amazes me how unorganized and uninformed USPS is. I have the USPS tracking app and I received a text message about an item arriving at a 60607 facility June 18th and that it was in transit. I have not received it as of today and nobody knows what it is or where it is. I have filed a claim but I do not think that it will help in any sort of way. I have high doubts that it is from USCIS since the envelope or whatever it is, did not have my full address (it only had the street name but not the number.

I still do not understand why is it so difficult to just deliver this item? How can they lose it? What if it is USCIS related?

Today I read on this forum that someone already received their interview notification for August 17th/18th and their timeline is like identical to mine so this really depresses me and frustrates me.

    Collect on Delivery

Has anyone ever had this experience with USPS where you have something coming your way but you do not know what it is or from whom it is and apparently it is a COD (collect on delivery) where I will have to pay? I have never gotten this and frankly I doubt it is USCIS and my co-worker is saying it might be a scam.
