Hi,
I'm in process of my EB2 based green card application. My I140 was approved with current employer. My priority date is current now. However, I lose my job and won't be able to file I485.
Do you know how late I can wait to file I485 given my priority date is current?
Can I even find a new employer willing to sponsor me on H1B visa given my priority date is current?
Finding a new employer needs to start the PERM all over again and I imagine it gonna take 2 years before I can file I485 with the new employer. Will this be a problem? Will this invalidate my I140 or force me to start over my entire green card application again?
