Green Card Application during STEM Extension

Hello all,

I currently am working on OPT and my H1-B application was not picked this year. I hav applied for my STEM Extension that expires on March 2019. My company is willing to appy for my GC as I have just one attemp left. I am an Indian citizen with my birth place as Oman. Is it a good idea to go ahead with the GC application now?

Unless you're EB-1, you most likely have to go home anyway if you don't win the H lottery
