Does an accident affect I-485?

I was involved in an accident recently.Early morning going to work I was turning left and did not see the a pedestrian. As soon as i saw him stopped and my passenger side mirror hit him. He was ok. I just received an traffic ticket for "failure to yield left turn". finished my defensive driver program. Ticket is dismissed. NO DUI no Criminal record. Does this affect my I-485? I have not applied yet. I am in he process of I-140.
