  • Risk of compromising citizenship?

I recently obtained citizenship through COR and now want to file my mother whom I declared dead in a previous LULAC application which was denied. Will I be compromising my citizenship if I file an I-130 for her?

I'm not clear how that misrepresentation was material to your application for legalization

If it was material, and you didn't obtain a waiver for it, the permanent residency you obtained through cancellation of removal can be voided by a federal court if petitioned to do so by your USCIS district director. The burden of proof is on the agency, not you, in order to revoke your permanent residency ab initio (and therefore void your naturalization ab initio)

That sounds like a lot of work, I can't imagine USCIS devoting scarse resources to trivial matters like this
