  • official statement of delay in I-765 (60 days past the 90 days

First time poster. I applied for I-485 on May 1st 2017, and received the receipt shortly after. I was told by my laywer that the the travel authorization and the employment authorization (I-765) that we submitted at the same time (May 1st 2017) will definitely come within 90 days. Now I am 102 days and still nothing. My Lawyer thought there might be a backlog and put in a request called "Beyond Committed Processing Time".

Today I got a letter from USCIS acknowledging the receipt of my lawyer's request for info regarding the delay and they said:

"We have had to perform additional review and this has caused a delay in processing time. Your case is currently with an adjudicating officer. You should receive A DECSION OF NOTICE OF FURTHER ACTION within 60 days".

Anyone experiencing this? Any thoughts on the matter?

    Thanks very much.
