Did you first get a letter saying it was approved, or did you just get the card in the mail with no warning?

I received the card by mail without any prior notice. Even now USCIS site is showing my I-795 case status has 'Application Received'

My status never changed online either. NOT COMPLAINING one bit!! Thankful people are preoccupied here! We should all just relax, let the process progress on its own..im very happy with USCIS so far!! • I had my interview today in Charleston SC. Everything went easier than i expected. Me and my husband were late 20 mins but we still had to wait 30 mins for an officer to call us in. When i send my applications i did not send a lot of pictures of us or other relationship proofs, we don`t have any join accounts or anything else on both names.
The officer was really nice, he asked as some question about how we meet, if i work (witch was a strange question for me because i don`t have a work permit yet), he asked about my wedding rings, why my husband doesn`t have one and how i feel when we go somewhere and he doesn`t have a wedding ring on his finger, i answer him that he can`t were one because of his job and i don`t have a problem with it because i know his mine and i don`t need him to were a ring to know that. He asked me a lot of question about my husband`s work and kids, how they go to school, when the buss comes etc. She asked me a bunch of question about Romania, my country, about my parents, how they feel about me being here, so far away from them.
He never asked for any other original document beside our ids.
After 40 mins of talking and him checking the papers i send, he asked me the yes and no question and told us he will check again if there will be something else he needs and send as a RFE but he thinks everything its ok, he doesn`t have any doubt our marriage is real and probably i will receive soon my green card.
He also told me when i asked about my work permit that its possible to receive my green card before my work permit.
I am so glad everything went so easy, i almost had a panic attack before interview because we did not had a lot of relationship profs.

Wonderful!!! Thanks for sharing...interesting to know all this...what they ask etc. do you have children? If so, i cant imagine, why. You need any other proof really...we have a daughter and married 8 years, his parents are my joint co sponsors, im hoping it will be also easy. If the main reason these interviews are being conducted is, validating, that two ppl indeed had a relationship and married for love, i have no doubts it will be Okay with our interview...yet, still..im nervous...because of the unknown ..hopefully well get a sweet person too to interview us. Congrats!!

No, we don`t have kids together, my husband has 3 little girls who live with us.
I`m sure you will be fine if you are together from such a long time and have a kid together.
I wish you good luck anyway!

                    • Hey all,

Not much to add unfortunately. Ended up calling the hotline again because it's been 40 days since I raised the first SR into my I-765. I spoke with a Tier 2 rep and he was very nice. He ended up raising an expedite request except the receipt number starts with WKD. He told me it's a different kind of request since he's a Tier 2 rep and we did it over the phone. He gave me a week as a time frame for an expected reply, so we shall see. If nothing happens, I'll be contacting the ombudsman next. I don't mind the overall process taking a long time, but I really wish the EAD/AP combo cards were more timely. Today is day 113.

Hang in there coffeeaddict! I think you will hear something very soon.

My update is below. The approval notices came in a couple of days apart for my parents and one of them got the card today. I hope to get the other one in a day or two. No change in online status for EAD/AP or for that matter I-130/485. Does anyone know if I-130 is processed at NBC or local field office? I-485 status still shows 'fingerprint fee was received.' On the processing dates page from USCIS it does not show an entry for I-130 on the NBC page so wondering when to expect the next update.

                          • Good to know Surfer27.

I just wanted to post about USPS informed delivery. I have signed up for it and it did help when I saw the approval notice scans in my email and then when they mailed one of the cards. But for my dad's card I never got the notification via USPS and so was pleasantly surprised to see the card in my mailbox yesterday. So keep your hopes up everyone who has yet to get their cards.

I then looked up the tracking number and noticed it came from Corbin, KY rather than Lee's Summit, MO. Anyway just thought I'd post here.

                            Everyone have a great weekend!

                            • SR Received

                              Hello,
Congrats for the ones who received their EAD. Recently, I requested SR by the phone, then on the case status in the website, not on the app. they updated it with this:

On December 1, 2017, your request to have your case expedited, referral number WKD########MSC, was completed.

On December 1, 2017, we sent a response to your request to have your case expedited, referral number WKD#######MSC.

On December 1, 2017, your request to have your case expedited, referral number WKD#####MSC, was assigned to an officer for response.

What does that mean, and which one of them is the first one, what's the order::and usually, how long does it take them to respond to me........
                              This is my first time ever to apply for SR. Please help::::::::::::;

The last one is the first response... " MSC, was assigned to an officer for response"

And the first is the last message that the request is now complete.

Check your email , you should have a message from USCIS telling you what you need to do or whats was done to expedite your ead
