I am still waiting for an interview, the Des Moines office is processing I-485 cases from May of 2016. Not sure how accurate is that.

My pd is August 17 2017... and I am a nyc filer too
We got our EAD the same time... I didn?t submit my medical because I knew NY is a year or more wait for interview. I?m patiently waiting, I always follow your thread because I know if you got a date for interview then I have hope.
With the Medical it depends on when you sent it in with the package, so August 10 that?s when it will expire for immigration. And the fact that you didn?t get any date as yet, it?s best to do it over and have it with you for interview. So they won?t delay your green card approval.

Got approval letters of I-130 and I-485 today, 07/02/2018

Waiting to receive card now. Interview was very hard, got seperated first to answer questions on the paper that IO gave us and there were around 60 questions. I was showing him our joint documents and photos while I was answering the questions on the paper. Then IO brought my husband back to the room and checked both of our answers. After that he asked me couple of questions on I-485 and asked my husband couple of questions. Then started to ask me Yes/No questions and gave me a paper about our case it says it?s on review but he said he?s gonna recommend it for approval.

Today, after 5 days, we received approval letters of I-130 and I-485. I-130 is for my husband and says his petition has been approved and I-485 is for me, says Welcome to the United States of America. You?ll receive your new (it?s actually first) Permanent Resident Card in 3 weeks. It?ll be conditional card and I?ll remove conditions before it ends.

All I can say is be confident and do not afraid. I was afraid, I was nervous but really well prepared. I had a huge box of evidence includes joint documents, 5 albums of photos, scrap book we made together, a box of my stuff from my husband and around 30 cards that we gave each other for holidays and special days. We have a real, bona fide and love marriage. We answered like a stokes interview questions on the paper. He didn?t even ask basic questions like where/how we met, where do I work or who?s this person on the photo. Imagine, he didn?t ask all the basic questions and started with questions like where is the toilet in the bathroom or what do you see outside when you look at out of the window in your bedroom. I can draw whole house and rooms so easily as we are living together. So, if you guys get seperated, don?t worry. You?ll do it very well, I believe. I know it?ll scare you, I know it?s gonna make you guys very anxious but I said to myself, if they call for stokes interview, I wouldn?t really care. If you know yourself and gonna feel anxious no matter what, take something makes you calm around 3-4 days before you go to your interview just to try it. Then take the same pill or syrup at the interview day. I mean like passiflora kind of herbal pills which calms you.

6/19/2018: EAD Renewal Application received

My wife and I moved earlier this year (same State and City - Salt Lake City, UT) so filed a change of address. I never received confirmation for the I-485 change but I've called USCIS and the T1 agent confirmed the new address is the address on record for the I-485 receipt number so must have been processed successfuly right?

Anyways - I'm seeing some people who have filed just this year already get interviews. The waiting is driving me crazy and seeing all the changes being made to immigration policy isn't helping. Just want this to go through.

10/17/2017: Online status update I-485- ready to be scheduled for interview
11/25/2017: Online SR raised for I-765
12/8/2017: Received EAD
2/28/2017: Online SR raised for I485 and I130
3/13/18: Online status update - Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview
6/27/18: SR response to inquiry for I485 - Action will be taken within 90 days.
7/2/18: SR response to inquiry for I130 - Petition will be adjudicated at the same time as the Form I-485.
9/4/18: Online status update - Interview was scheduled. We will mail you the interview notice.
9/10/18: NOA received, interview date on 10/15/18.

Haha. Not weird at all. I know what you mean. There is some comfort in knowing that you're not the only one going crazy waiting. I'm always paranoid I've accidentally thrown the mail with the interview notice in the trash.

I'm thinking it has to be soon, right? From what I see around here people tend to average getting their notification somewhere around the year mark. We're gonna get it soon. Let me know when you get yours. Come on SLC! Hurry!!!

Job Title Discrepancy

Hi everyone!

New to this forum and have a dilemma:
My lawyers filed for my I140 & I485 concurrently on July 23rd, 2018.
However, with a reorg my job title change for data analyst to integration manager, with no significant change in duties but more like an expansion to service more teams.
Hence it was deemed to continue the process with the data analyst role.

However, in my employment history section under the I485 form, I have truthfully mentioned the title change and I am worried that it will contradict the I140 form filed under the data analyst job title.
Also the title change happened in August so not so far off from the date of filing.
I just got an approval of my I140 on Nov 5th and realized this.

I would be really grateful if someone can advise me on this.
Been trying to get hold of my lawyer since the past week but wanted to reach out to see what people have experienced.
