I was also checking my case status as online in the USCIS page. It was giving error for I-485 status until yesterday morning, now It is disappeared and I do not see my case info there. When I try to add the case number it gives error and says something like there is no this case number existing. I called USCIS because they told me that every 15th day your cases are updated. They are just saying your case status is normal process, there is no issue, you should wait couple days. Another one says, your case looks perfect, do not worry. Other one says your case is ready for interview but we do not know when it will be noticed. I also checked the San Diego Field office important informations on the web page. It is saying if you apply for your I-485 prior to November 2017 and have not receive any notification for your interview, make a schedule for infopass appointment. I also took an infopass appointment to June 28th. Meanwhile my friends who applied in November 2017 took a notice as email for interview to wait for mail. I am really surprised how this works. The most interesting one, one of my other friends applied the same I-485 as family based marriage, they applied in 2018 like February, they took interview notice shortly after biometric info pass. There are 3 months between notice and application date.

It is ridiculous ! I do not understand anything about the dates, time frame or processing...
I know it is not fair and we actually can?t do anything about that. It?s sad.

      • I got the same email and text on 9th June (Sat). I received the letter only yesterday (15th) for my interview which is scheduled for 19th July at 8:15am.

However, I did call uscis and spoke with a level 2 officer earlier in the week and he did tell me my date and time for the interview. I got too impatient and didn't want to wait for the letter.

Call them up n speak with a level 2 officer!!

I am a late August I-485 filer originally through Fiance Visa and have had the case status on USCIS "Ready to schedule interview" late September as stayed that way about for 10 months.

Monday, June 11th, 2018 my husband gets a text message that our case status has been updated on USCIS to "On June 11, 2018, we scheduled an interview for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number YYYY YYYY XX. We will mail you an interview notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice."

Still no letter in the mail with an official interview date.

Anyone else with a similar timeline? how long did you wait for the official interview date to come in the mail? how far out in advance was your interview scheduled for? I'm hoping we will have an interview in mid-July.

        Appreciate any feedback!

There was a glitch in the system. Several field offices were affected. Somehow the system started scheduling interviews with a priority date from January 2018 onward. In plain English, Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Diego, Kansas City (MO), Tampa, FL; skipped from whatever priority date they were processing and started processing PDs from January 2018.
I know of someone who filed in Kansas City, MO in April 2018. That person was just scheduled for interview. It's in July 2018. In the mean time, there is a filer with PD 05/2017 who is trying to get the Kansas City, MO field office to recognize he/she should be scheduled next because they're interviewing people who filed a year later than he did.

Next time you go to an Infopass appointment, do not be afraid to point that out to the officer. Gently and politely, tell them you are aware of the fact that your field office is scheduling people who filed way later than you did. Reach out to your Senator and say the same. have them shake the tree. USCIS needs to get their head out of their behind.

          Reach out to your Senator.

That is just the speculation. We also thought it could be an interview during conditional green card removal later. Hope this information helps.
Are you sure the card production update was for your green card? If you didn't have the medical form with your initial package, I don't think it's possible they would have approved your case. They would have at least called you in to hand the medical form in, even if they were happy with your other paperwork. If you are adjusting from F1, they would've scheduled you for an interview 100%. They're also increasing K1 applicant interviews as well.

Hi, sorry for the late response. I managed to called the USCIS and found out that it was a mistake.

I hope the August filers will get an interview date soon, the processing date for I-130 is on 29th of August when I last checked.

                        WAITING FOR INTERVIEW
                        Hi
My pd is August 17 2017... and I am a nyc filer too
We got our EAD the same time... I didn?t submit my medical because I knew NY is a year or more wait for interview. I?m patiently waiting, I always follow your thread because I know if you got a date for interview then I have hope.
With the Medical it depends on when you sent it in with the package, so August 10 that?s when it will expire for immigration. And the fact that you didn?t get any date as yet, it?s best to do it over and have it with you for interview. So they won?t delay your green card approval.
                        God bless and good luck

Well you might get lucky and get an interview date soon. If it's before August 10, 2018 (your PD + 1 year), you don't need a new medical. If it's after, it might depend on the IO. If your interview turns out to be shortly after August 10, 2018, your IO might not care and say you don't need a new medical. I would say to wait until you know for sure when your interview is. There's no point in spending $300-$400 right now when it's possible you could get an interview date soon.

My PD is August 8, 2017 so I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed we hear something soon. I also do not want to get a whole new medical (Los Angeles filer).

Base on this link, is based on the PD. My lawyers was adamant about me getting a new one. She was looking at the date my doctor signed it. I think is bull crap but I will let you know after my interview. I intend to ask the IO that question.

Starting June 1, 2014, USCIS will limit the validity period for all Forms I-693, Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Record, to one year from the date of submission to USCIS. Applicants m
