What is the affect of a simple assault arrest that was dismissed on I-485

I'm about to apply for my I-485 as a spouse of a US citizen. I was arrested a few months ago for class c misdemeanor and I pleaded Not guilty when asked by the judge next morning what I plea. the arrest was because of a fight with my wife over her hiding the car keys which ended up with her dad calling the police (on his way to our house). The report claims I pushed her with my body weight to get through the door causing offensive touch.

After that the case was dismissed for non sufficient evidence. I pleaded not guilty because I was the one being pushed all the time and I was trying to get away to find the keys.

Is a simple assault gonna be a big problem for us even ?

Keep it simple. Just stay with the facts and ruling of the courts. This is going to be controversial but you can use that arrest as part of your evidence of bona fide marriage. You will be fine - case was dismissed.
