  • Place of Last Arrival in the United States

This might be a silly question but on the AOS application it asks place of last arrival into the US. Name city and state. Well my DIL came into the Washington Dulles International Airport in Virginia. Is that what I put? I assume they are talking about when she came in with me on her K-1 Visa back in July. Also they give you choices of when you last arrived I:
was inspected at port of entry and admitted as (they don't mention fiancée or K-1 visa), or other. The other ones don't apply to her. Which one do I put her K-1 Visa under. And if you are typing online it won't let you put in K-l. Just K. Then on status on Form I-94 you can't put K-1. just k. Also later it asks your current immigration status (if it has changed since your arrival)? She has gotten married to my son so does that change her status? Or does she stay K-1 until the green card gets approved? This form is a bit confusing and I maybe posting a bit here. Thanks for any answers in advance or if you have a question please let me know. I just hope this post isn't too confusing...

It should be listed on his I-94. It is the place he went through US immigration, which is usually the first place he landed in the US, but might be the foreign airport before coming to the US if he came from Canada, Ireland, or Abu Dhabi.

Turn off JavaScript in Acrobat Reader and then type K-1, or write it in by hand.

Similarly, turn off JavaScript in Acrobat Reader and then type K-1, or write it in by hand.

It's K-1 or "K-1 (expired)" if the I-94 has already expired.

      place of last arrival

It is not on the 1-94 but it is on her travel history and also the visa stamp she got when she came thru Dulles Airport. It just says WAS so I guess that is what I will put although Washington Dulles International Airport is IAD on flights. So confusing.

According to this, yes, WAS is Washington, DC.
