Adjustment from Sibiling to Spouce

Hello, I searched on this forum but I wasn't able to find the correct answer I was looking for. Can someone advise based on their experience/credentials whether USCIS allows for the adjustment of a petition to change from a sibling to a U.S. Citizen spouse? The immigrant paroled if that helps.

Rather than change or upgrade the preference category of the immigrant relative petition, I suggest your sibling file a new immigrant relative petition after you both are married. It would be easier for USCIS to understand and process the paperwork, and there is no practical reason to port or retain your old priority date - immediate relative petitions are always current. In addition, if USCIS deems your marriage as void due to public policy and then rejects the spouse petition, you will still have the sibling petition in progress. Best of luck
