Hi everyone! I am a US citizen, my husband is currently protected under DACA.
1. We got married in December, filed our paperwork on March 7,2017.
2. 1-2 weeks later (I don't remember the actual date, but it was no longer than 2 weeks) we received a receipt, checks were cashed and we got notice for biometrics.
3. Completed biometrics another 2 weeks later.
4. As of April 12, 2017 we are ready to be scheduled for an interview.
5. Today, September 5, 2017 I put in a service request as /typically/ the waiting period between being ready to schedule for an interview and getting your interview date should be 90 days (3 months.) I tried to put in a service request on the exact day that marked 90 days since we were ready to be scheduled for an interview, but it wouldn't allow me. I tried again a few minutes ago and it went right through. I got an email saying that we will hear *something* back by September 27, 2017. My guess is they will either tell us to **** off, or they will give us an interview date.
Feel free to post your experiences/questions on this thread, I'd love to help anyone I can.
Good luck and prayers to all! May God bless each and every one of you on this long, but definitely "worth-it" journey.
